MS Melbourne Cycle is a perfect opportunity to get on your bike and show your support for people living with Multiple Sclerosis, a disease that effects over 23,000 Australians.

About the MS Melbourne Cycle

MS Melbourne Cycle is a perfect opportunity to get on your bike and show your support for people living with MS.

The Melbourne Cycle’s 50km ride is well regarded as the best way to prepare for your transition into bunch riding and the perfect course length for a challenging yet comfortable experience. The 25km short course is aimed at families to experience a leisurely alternative.

Cycle Event Details

Both the 25km and 50km course start at Alexandra Gardens and finish at Princes Park in Carlton, so a great way for everyone to get involved and help show your support for MS Australia.

Start Site: Alexandra Ave, Alexandra Gardens (Melway Ref: 2F J7)
25km Course: Start Time – 8.00am-8.30am
50km Course: Start Time – 7.00am-8.00am

The changes to the courses for 2013 are designed to

    • Reduce cyclists congestion through the Melbourne CBD, which has been address by a separate start and finish site.

Reduce the number of traffic lights and major intersections that cyclists travel through

  • Offer two route distances for cyclists, allowing both distance the view over the Westgate Bridge

 

The course starts at Alexandra with the event finishing at Princes Park where cyclists can take in the live entertainment and food stalls.
